还记得那时候的家乡，环境十分优美，一根根纤细翠绿的茅草在土地上随风舞动;粗壮的藤蔓攀上了粗壮的树干，在树顶贪婪地吸取着阳光，愈发地结实了，便慢慢弯下了腰来，变成了一个天然的“水帘洞”;瘦弱的小树展开了它那娇小嫩绿的叶子，在阳光的滋润下，逐渐成长……仅仅是这后山里的优美风光，就为我儿时的时光添上了不少的乐趣。

在这片幽静的山林之中行走，难免会遇见一只只小动物。运气好点，或许会看见小小的知了正趴在树干上唱歌，一边享受着甘甜可口的树汁，一边又享受着温和的日光浴;美丽的七星瓢虫在草叶上捕食着祸害植物的蚜虫。不过如果运气差点，扒开草丛，有时会看见一条目露凶光的毒蛇抬起前半段身子，吐着蛇信子正盯着你，看得你起一身鸡皮疙瘩，撒开腿转身就跑;有的时候还会遇见毒蜘蛛，它们凶得很!假如被它们给咬上一口，那就不仅仅只是痛了，被咬的地方有时还会肿胀发黑，甚至昏迷过去。

在后山的竹林里，最有趣的事情就莫过于竹子开花了。在我们那儿有人说，竹子一生几乎不开花，所以很少有人见到竹子的花长什么样子。为此，我也是动不动就往竹林里跑，转上个十几圈的。时间久了，倒还真给我遇见了一次，那淡紫色的花上夹着几分纯白，挂在竹节上，给这一整颗笔直刚正的竹子增添了几分温柔，让人眼前焕然一新。
