暑假期间，我读了《格列佛游记》这本书，书的作者是英国乔纳森.斯威夫特。当我翻开这本书时，第一眼就被目录上的几个大标题吸引住了：小人国游记、大人国游记、慧马国游记等。看着这些神奇的标题，我禁不住想入非非，想早点走进故事情节，早点满足我的好奇心。

故事讲述了格列佛在航海途中遇到的光怪陆离的'故事。其中对我影响最深的就是他在小人国的遭遇。当读到：在航海途中大风浪把船刮到凡迪门兰的西北方时，船上十二个人因极度虚弱、饮食恶劣而死，仅剩包括格列佛在内的六个人时，我心中开始有一些担忧并在心里默默地为他们祈祷。他们的船翻了，不得不上了救生小船，更糟糕的是他们无力划船，而且一阵狂风将小船掀翻，“我”再也无力挣扎，就要完蛋时，奇迹出现了。“我”竟然被巨浪推上了岸。看到这，我不由得舒了一口气，格列佛暂时安全了。

而最让我惊叹的是：小人国也有十分出色的数学家为了把“我”送往京城，让五百个木匠与工程师动手建造他们最大的机器。建好后让机器与“我”身体平行，但困难的是怎样把“我”抬放到车上去。为此他们竖起了八十根一英尺高的柱子，工人先用绷带将“我”捆住然后用包扎线粗细的结实绳索一头钩住绷带一头缚在滑车上，结果不到三小时就将“我”抬到车上。对于他们来说“我”是个庞然大物，这个工程一定是改写他们历史的重要事件。我觉得这太神奇了，没想到一些与我手指般大小的人能将一个1米70的人抬入车中。

读完这本书，我感受到了作者就在我的眼前，仿佛我也是其中的一员。

when i was seven, my mother sent me to an english school. at there, i played games and sang english songs with other children . then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the english world.

everyday, i read english following the tapes. sometimes, i watch english cartoons.

on the weekend, i often go to the english corner. by talking with different people there, i have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral english.
